Life Updates

We were just in Scotland with my family, and it was so special watching my sister’s baby and Monty together. Monty didn’t really care about her just yet 😂 but he did learn the word “baby,” which was honestly the cutest thing to watch. Every time he saw her he’d shout “babyyyy!” I’ve lived away from home for about 13 years now and I always used to say a long weekend was plenty, but the older we get, especially now with kids, it never feels long enough. There’s truly nothing like having your own family around to help with children.

The first few days were a bit tough as Monty took some time to warm up to my mum and sister, but once he let other people take over “duty,” everything got so much easier. We actually ended up booking a two-week trip to Dubai in January to stay with my sister, which always makes the goodbyes a bit easier for all of us. I’m flying out at the end of this week with my mum (thank God, because flying with a one-year-old is no joke). My sister just moved into her villa, so we’ll be staying with her and doing more of a “living in Dubai” vibe rather than a full-on holiday, which I love, and it definitely takes the pressure off outfit planning 😂.

Overall, I’m just so excited for this year. I really feel like I found my feet online last year, and it was genuinely my favorite year on the internet ever in my 10-ish years of doing this. I’m so excited to see what this year brings for all of us 🤍
